Spa Day at Eau Palm Beach Resort & Spa for My Birthday

For my birthday this year I wanted to relax and what better way to do that than going to the spa! Eau resort and spa was at the top of my list. I came across the resort a few years back when I was Wedding Planning, it was a venue I had my eyes on for our wedding

Although it wasn’t the venue that fit us, I told myself I would go there for a staycation or spa day.

Located in Manalapan, Florida, Eau spa is a Forbes Five-star award and is in the Conde Nast top 25 spas in the WORLD in 2014!

We picked the Chrysalises couples package out of their couples packages options. This included a massage, dry float bed, champagne and chocolate covered strawberries and access to the spa amenities, like steam room, sauna, and rainfall jacuzzi. For a spa as luxurious as this I thought the value was amazing!

When we arrived at the resort, we were greeted by the valet that provides you with a ticket that is validated at the spa to receive free parking, which was a plus.

Walking through the lobby I was amazed at how stunning it was. The décor was so warm, inviting but yet so luxe and grand.

At the spa, we followed the staff to the wishing well where they provided me with a tiara, since it was my birthday, and they gave us each a candle to make a wish at a wishing well. This was the PAUSE ritual.

My husband and I then separated to go change for our treatments. They recommend arriving 45 mins before your treatment to have enough time to relax, they have a waiting area called the Eau zone with comfy chairs overlooking the courtyard. The Eau zone has mini cupcakes and bottles of water or infused water that we could grab.

As I said earlier, In addition to our massage we also had access to a dry float bed. And this was the main reason why I picked that package because I was curious to see what it was all about. Let me tell you it was one of the highlights of our time there. I’ve had massages before but I’ve never done a dry float bed before!  So this is how it goes, we lay down and the masseuse cocooned us on the bed with a weighted blanket and the board turned into a floating tank. It is said to have plenty of benefits for the lymphatic system and a 30 minute nap there is equivalent to 8hrs of sleep. Needless to say it was the best nap I ever took. Imagine falling asleep while floating on water, It was simply amazing!

After our massage, we went into the courtyard, which is actually a butterfly garden. The courtyard is nothing like I’ve seen before. It is relaxation at its finest. There are waterfalls all over and wells that add beautifully to the relaxed atmosphere.

There are large day beds, cabanas, and a set of swings that you can leisurely move from one to another. I also love swings so having that in a spa was for sure a treat for me! You can even order lunch to enjoy in the courtyard. Honestly, they don’t give much reason to leave when you get there.

After hanging out in the garden, we went to enjoy the Cascading rain shower jacuzzi and the sauna. Inside there are heated loungers, where you can relax and doze off.

This was my best spa experience to date and I would highly recommend it for any occasion or just because! Perfect for couples day, girls day or solo time to yourself. And in case you were not interested in a massage they have the option of The Fairy Spa Pass where you can escape and indulge in the spa amenities. That fee can be waived if you book a treatment over $100.

I would like to note that while I was there I was so happy to see plenty of other women who looked like me that were there enjoying the spa as well. It’s amazing to see that we are prioritizing ourselves and mental health while indulging in luxury and I love that for us!!

I hope to do this again soon.

Tell me, do you enjoy spa days? What was your best spa experience?

Thank you again for all the birthday wishes, they were really appreciated.

Cheers!
